What Your Plan Covers (Please Read Each Point)

Your Tires Are Covered Against Road Hazard Damage For 3 Years From The Date Of Purchase, Or Until The Tread Wears To 4/32" (3.2 mm), Whichever Comes First. Road Hazard Damage Means A Puncture, Cut, Bruise Or Impact Break From Something On The Road During Normal Driving — Nails, Screws, Glass, Potholes, Debris. Gravel Roads Count As Normal Driving.

Full Replacement, Not Prorated

I Understand That If A Covered Tire Is Damaged By A Road Hazard And Cannot Be Safely Repaired, Gearhead Replaces It With The Same Tire (Or Comparable If Discontinued) At No Charge For The Tire. I Pay Mounting, Balancing, The Alberta Tire Recycling Fee, Applicable Taxes, And A New Plan For The Replacement Tire If I Want It Covered.

Included With Every Set

I Understand That Every Set Of Tires Gearhead Sells Includes, For The Life Of The Tires And Plan Or No Plan: Free Rotations (Checked Every Visit, Rotated At 2/32" Difference Front To Rear), Free Rebalancing, Free Flat Repairs To Industry Standard, Free Tire Inspections And Air Checks Any Time, And A 30-Day Ride & Try Exchange For A Set Of Equal Value If I Am Not Happy (Tires Under 2/32" Wear).

One Replacement Per Tire — All Four On AWD

I Understand Each Tire Is Covered For One Replacement, And Each Replacement Tire Needs Its Own Plan. If My Vehicle's Manufacturer Requires Matching Tread Depth (Most All-Wheel-Drive Vehicles) And One Covered Tire Is Damaged Beyond Repair By A Road Hazard, Gearhead Replaces All Four Tires At No Charge For The Tires.

What Is Not Covered

I Understand The Plan Does Not Cover: Collision, Fire, Vandalism, Theft Or Tire Chains; Off-Road Driving (Trails, Fields — Maintained Gravel Roads Are Covered); Manufacturer Defects (Handled Through The Manufacturer's Warranty); Damage From Vehicle Problems Such As Alignment, Worn Suspension Or Brake Lock-Up; Improper Inflation, Overloading Or Abuse; Retreaded Tires Or Tires Repaired Other Than To Industry Procedure; Or Damage To Anything Other Than The Tire.

Eligibility And Transfer

I Understand The Plan Covers Passenger And Light Truck Tires Up To 35" (Including Farm And Ranch Use), Excludes 19.5" And Larger Commercial Tires And Vehicles For Hire, Belongs To Me As The Original Purchaser, And Does Not Transfer With The Vehicle.

Away From Red Deer

I Understand That If A Road Hazard Happens While I Am Travelling, I Can Have The Tire Repaired Or Replaced Wherever I Am, Keep The Receipt And A Photo Of The Damaged Tire's Sidewall (DOT Number), And Bring Both To Gearhead Within 30 Days. Gearhead Reimburses A Qualifying Claim Up To What It Would Charge For The Same Tire (Or Its Standard Flat Repair Price For A Repair). Mounting, Balancing, Fees And Taxes Are Not Reimbursed.

How To Make A Claim

I Understand I Bring The Vehicle And The Damaged Tire To Gearhead Within 60 Days Of The Damage, Gearhead Keeps This Registration On File So I Do Not Need To Keep Paperwork, And The Damaged Tire Stays With Gearhead.
